Privacy policy
Last updated 11 July 2026
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data to the minimum needed to deliver your purchase and meet our legal and accounting duties.
1. Who is responsible
V-/Src is operated by Karthickrajan Somasundaram, an individual seller (sole proprietor) based in India. For any privacy request, email karthick1242004@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account details from GitHub sign-in: your name, email, avatar, and GitHub username. The GitHub username is your delivery address for repository access.
- Order records: the product bought, amount, currency, status, and billing country reported by our payment provider.
- Support messages you send us by email.
We do not collect or store your payment card details. Those are handled entirely by our payment provider.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver your purchase by inviting your GitHub account to the product repository.
- To show your purchases, license keys, and invoices in your library.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
4. Payment data
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as the merchant of record and handles your card data and tax invoice under its own privacy policy. We receive only limited billing metadata (amount, currency, and country) for our records. Please review Dodo Payments' privacy policy.
5. Service providers we share with
We share the minimum data needed with the providers that run the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Dodo Payments, for payments and invoicing (merchant of record).
- GitHub, to deliver repository access to your account.
- Neon, our database host, and Vercel, our application host.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in and secure your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. How long we keep data
We keep order and entitlement records for as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet accounting and legal requirements. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it, subject to those same legal duties.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop certain processing. Email karthick1242004@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also edit your GitHub username directly in your library.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and scoped access to the systems that hold it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
10. Children
The storefront is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Questions or requests? Email karthick1242004@gmail.com or see our contact page.
